Primary School Key Stage 1 Teacher (September) - Telford
Are you a qualified and experienced teacher looking for a new challenge? Do you have a passion for teaching young learners in Key Stage 1? We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Class Teacher to join Aspire People to work in Telford to provide PPA cover across Key Stage 1 from September 2023 to September 2024.
Responsibilities:
* Deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences to Key Stage 1 students during PPA sessions.
* Follow the existing curriculum and schemes of work, ensuring continuity and progression in learning.
* Collaborate with the Key Stage 1 teaching team to plan engaging and inclusive lessons.
* Assess student progress, provide feedback, and record observations in line with school policies.
* Create a positive and stimulating learning environment that supports the development of each child.
* Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to promote a supportive learning community.
* Uphold the school's values and maintain a safe and respectful classroom environment.
* Contribute to the wider school community through participation in meetings, events, and professional development activities.
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
* Experience teaching in Key Stage 1.
* A solid understanding of the Key Stage 1 curriculum and age-appropriate teaching strategies.
* Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to engage and inspire young learners.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with students, staff, and parents.
* The ability to plan and deliver creative and differentiated lessons that cater to the diverse needs of the students.
* Effective assessment and record-keeping skills to track student progress.
* Dedication to continuous professional development and a commitment to staying abreast of educational developments.
