Sales Account Director (UK Operations)

Description: A leading global Ad Tech supplier is looking for a seasoned, entrepreneurial Sales Account Director to help grow their UK operations. If you’re ambitious, entrepreneurially minded, and eager to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, then this could be the role for you.

About the Company: A global leader in contextual video and display advertising, this company blends innovation, creativity, and technology to provide full-funnel solutions and drive business outcomes for clients. Based in London, the Sales Account Director will report directly to the Business Director and be responsible for delivering revenue targets across a lucrative agency patch.

Key Responsibilities:


  1. Achieve business objectives by growing revenue.
  2. Identify new business opportunities and prospects.
  3. Build, manage, and maintain a robust sales pipeline for the UK market.
  4. Provide best-in-class sales techniques and ensure market coverage.
  5. Manage a portfolio of clients and media agencies.
  6. Identify and leverage new business opportunities to build relationships.
  7. Attend weekly meetings within your agency patch.
  8. Devise and execute effective sales initiatives.
  9. Present quarterly reviews and strategic plans.
  10. Foster client relationships to drive brand loyalty.
  11. Meet or exceed revenue goals.

Key Requirements:


  1. Proven track record of prospecting and selling digital advertising solutions.
  2. Strong network within London media agencies.
  3. In-depth knowledge of digital advertising, including programmatic.
  4. Experience in building pipelines and closing deals successfully.
  5. Confident self-starter with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
  6. Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  7. Excellent technical knowledge of ad-serving and verification technology.
  8. Proficiency in MS Office and a solid understanding of performance analysis.
  9. Sociable, outgoing, and capable of building relationships effortlessly.

Ideal Background:


  1. Minimum of 3 years’ experience selling digital media brands to UK agencies.
  2. Track record of achieving sales through new business development and account management.
  3. Experience with strategic selling, face-to-face presentations, and proposal writing.
  4. Strong networking skills and the ability to forge lasting client relationships.
