LMA is working with a global Bank who are seeking a talented and motivated Risk Assistant to join their dynamic risk team on a 6-month FTC. As a Risk Assistant, you will be working within the Risk Department and will be primarily responsible for supporting the department's operational resilience projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the Operational Resilience Project by assisting in the development, implementation, and maintenance of business continuity plans, testing procedures, and severe and plausible scenario analyses 
  • Provide ad-hoc support on other areas of operational resilience for the Branch.
  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of business continuity plans to ensure ongoing operational resilience.
  • Monitoring and reporting of RCSA/CET, KRI, LED, CIM (Collectively known as ORM Tools) and Incident Reporting into local Governance, HODs, and related stakeholders.
  • Work with the HOD to ensure the Branch compliant with applicable rules and regulations that falls within the department’s remit. .
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma or Bachelor or Master’s degree in Accounting/Finance/Business/Economics/Financial Engineering/Law would be of added advantage.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • PRMIA, FRM, IRM (Not essential but would be advantageous)
  • Excellent verbal and written communications (in English)
  • Good analytical skills
  • Strong stakeholder management/people skills
  • Previous experience in the banking industry or a related field is preferred but not essential.
