Our client, one of the most recognised and respected organisations within the property and construction sector, is seeking to recruit a candidate of suitable calibre to assume the position of Interim Finance Manager for one of their large and profitable operating divisions. Working in tandem and supporting the current Finance Manager and reporting to the Finance Director you will be contributing to the overall success of the Business through supporting the FD in the effective management of the Finance team. This would be a 4 / 5 Month contract on a daily rate. The current FD has taken on a Regional FD role on an interim basis so due to this they are requiring some additional support for the Finance Manager so there would be no management responsibilities. The Finance Manager will be undertaking a lot of the Management Accounts / Budgets and forecasting, and the elected candidate would get involved in the Financial Accounting, Year End Process, Audit Process, and queries as well as Balance Sheet analysis. Previous experience and qualifications:

  • Professionally qualified Accountant with substantial post qualified experience in a senior commercial accounting role from ideally within the House building / Construction / Infrastructure sector but would consider other Industries.
  • Strong experience of Year End Process, Statutory Accounts and reporting, Audit Liaising and Balance Sheet analysis
  • Highly numerate with Strong IT and excel Skills and Financial Analysis with ability to interpret data and assess impacts on the business.
  • Proactive, problem solver who can work as part of a team as well as under their own initiative.
  • Ability to provide appropriate challenge to ensure all financial controls are maintained.
