Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced finance / investment professional as Chief of Staff to support our Chief Investment Officer (CIO). This role is pivotal in driving strategic initiatives, expanding business development efforts, fostering key industry relationships and exploring new investment opportunities.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in investment banking, private equity, venture capital, growth-stage companies (investment / operating experience), management consulting, or investment advisor / allocator role or related fields and exhibit a keen ability to learn quickly and build networks.

Key Responsibilities:

1- Special Projects Management:

  • Lead and manage special projects in collaboration with the CIO, including portfolio management of the group assets in Turkiye, regional private equity collaborations and developing strategic initiatives for the MENA market.

2- Business Development:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand Intera’s investment portfolio.
  • Support the CIO in crafting and implementing growth strategies.

3- Networking:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the investment community.
  • Represent Intera Investments at industry events and conferences to enhance the firm's visibility and network.

4- Exploring New Investment Opportunities:

  • Conduct thorough research and analysis to identify potential investment opportunities in private equity, venture capital, and other sectors.
  • Assist in evaluating co-investment opportunities, leveraging prior experience.

5- Knowledge Building:

  • Drive initiatives to enhance the firm’s knowledge base, including market trends, industry developments, and best practices.
  • Support the CIO in creating informative reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.

6- Investment Evaluation Support:

  • Support the CIO in previewing and evaluating investment proposals from various investment teams

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Engineering or a related field. Advanced degrees (MBA, CFA) are a plus.
  • 5-10 years of relevant experience in investment banking, private equity, venture capital, growth-stage companies (operator experience), management consulting or allocator roles.
  • Prior Chief of Staff experience is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage complex projects and initiatives.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a track record of exploring and evaluating investment opportunities.
  • Excellent networking and relationship-building abilities.
  • Highly organized, with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
