We have a fantastic opportunity in Tower Hamlets to join the Tower Hamlets Integrated Mental Health Programme.
This is an excellent opportunity for a suitably experienced and committed individual to join our Integrated Commissioning Team, working across our partnerships to shape and deliver our ambitious Mental Health programme.
The post holder will take a leadership role for our integrated programme, working with our Mental Health Partnership Board to improve the health and wellbeing of the local people in Tower Hamlets, with a focus on adults facing mental health and wellbeing issues.
In particular they will have proven experience of co-ordinating projects and programmes. The post holder will support the Tower Hamlets Partnership, with good knowledge of mental health, a strong understanding of and experience in the commissioning cycle alongside advanced co-ordination, leadership, management, communication and interpersonal skills that enable them to promote and further the work of the partnership across a wide range of stakeholders.
Leading on the planning and monitoring of mental health services across health and adult social care, to deliver improved access, experience, and outcomes to the resident population.
Work within the Mental Health Partnership Board to shape and improve pathways for mental wellbeing.
Delivery of the mental health improvement programme for Tower Hamlets
Supporting the Mental Health Provider Collaborative to deliver the mental health community transformation programme
Work closely with the Tower Hamlets mental health clinical lead and ELFT Tower hamlets Borough Director
Manging a team of local authority and health commissioners

Post-graduate degree or equivalent
Experience of co-ordinating projects in complex and challenging environments
Experience of managing risks and reporting
Evidence of planning and delivering programmes, projects and services on time
Evidence of continued professional development
Experience of monitoring budgets and business planning processes
Numerate and able to understand complex financial issues combined with deep analytical skills
Ability to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of equality of opportunity and diversity. Knowledge of financial systems e.g. monitoring budget management, processing invoices and procurement
Able to manage a teams, including influencing some without direct line management
