Are you experienced in leading a team to provide holistic, family-centred, quality care? Are you an RNC with a passion for palliative and end of life care? We are recruiting for a Care Manager to lead and be part of our Clients Care team at their peaceful, woodland hospice.
This is a wonderful opportunity to work in partnership with hospitals and community nursing teams to deliver care to a range of children and young people with a variety of complex health conditions. You will also work closely with internal teams outside of Care, such as Fundraising and Finance, to support the wider operation and goals of the Hospice.
The Care Manager is responsible for all aspects of the day-to-day operations within the residential clinical care setting, including recruiting and managing staff, managing budgets and ensuring that the quality of the services provided meet the care standards as set out in the Care Quality Commission Framework for Children’s Hospices.
We’re looking for someone who is dedicated to excellence and has significant previous managerial experience in a clinical care setting, managing a team of nurses. This is a full time role working 35 hours across weekdays.
