The Operations Director - Logistics will play a critical role in leading all activity across UK operations across warehousing & in-house transport operations.

This position is a truly exciting opportunity for an experienced logistics professional to be at the forefront of a rapidly expanding and industry-leading organisation which will include directing an already impressive UK distribution network, new site expansion and the integration of automation & robotics.

Operational Leadership: Provide strategic leadership and direction for all UK business operational activities, including 1.4m sq. ft. of warehousing, 40 vehicles, ongoing delivery of the operational growth strategy, continuous improvement initiatives and projects.
Business Growth: An awareness of the potential challenges new site start up launches can have on collective culture is important to this client.
Budget Responsibility: Develop and manage the operational budget in excess of £60m, ensuring financial objectives are achieved while maintaining service & quality.
Performance Metrics: Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, safety standards, and industry best practice.
Continuously evaluate and improve operational processes to enhance efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field, MBA or advanced degree – Advantageous
The successful candidate must have operated at a Head of or Director level for a 3PL business for a minimum of 5+ years – Essential.
Prior commercial knowledge of the UK logistics market.
