Job Description

This is an incredible opportunity to join one of the world’s leading ecotourism and adventure brands as Key Account Manager for the German market.

As a pivotal member of this business’s sales and commercial team, you will be responsible for executing a comprehensive B2B sales strategy through driving revenue growth, achieving targets and nurturing travel trade key accounts across Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

Your role will involve independently supporting top consortia and agencies as trading partners while taking charge of group business across your dedicated markets. You will utilise financial systems for account tracking and data-driven decision-making as well as been responsible for negotiating group business contracts and leading training initiatives for agents through various channels such as webinars, presentations, and in-person engagements.

Your creativity will be essential in developing sales tactics and marketing strategies to boost turnover for your region. Collaborating closely with the Finance Department, you will ensure the timely and accurate delivery of payments to partners. Flexibility and adaptability will be key as you plan and execute projects against set goals and budgets, adjusting strategies as needed to support the business and achieve organizational objectives.

To succeed in this role, you should have experience sales leadership role within the travel and/or cruise industry and have demonstrated success in driving sales growth and achieving & exceeding revenue targets. You will have a good contact list of travel partners in the DACH region and be able to utilise to drive growth.

Please note that this a remotely based role to be based in Germany. International Travel will be required. You must be fluent in both German and English.
