The Role Cura Technology is looking for a hands-on IT Sales Team Lead who can coach, motivate, and drive performance in a high-energy sales environment while maintaining personal sales contributions. This is not a purely strategic role – you'll actively sell alongside your team and support the Sales Manager in day-to-day operations. You'll lead from the front, delivering your own sales number and develop a team of Account Managers/Business Development Managers selling our comprehensive range of services such as Hardware and software Solutions, IT managed services portfolio, Cyber Security Solutions, VOIP & connectivity and any other relevant products, ensuring consistent pipeline activity, deal progression and revenue achievement. Critical requirement: You must have a proven background in IT Sales and IT managed services or Cyber security sales. What You'll Do Sales Leadership & Support Coach and motivate a team of AM's/BDM's selling Technology, IT managed services, cloud, cyber security, and telecoms Conduct daily/weekly performance reviews – call quality, pipeline health, deal progression Shadow calls and client meetings to provide real-time coaching and feedback Support the Sales Manager with team performance and operational priorities Jump into complex deals to assist closing You will be responsible for your own sales targets Monitor CRM activity and ensure accurate pipeline management Run team huddles and team meetings to drive focus and energy Performance Management Help set and track team targets (revenue, meetings, conversion rates, deal sizes) Identify underperformance early and implement improvement plans Conduct regular 1-2-1s focused on skills development and target achievement Operational Excellence Ensure your team follows sales processes and methodology consistently Collaborate with pre-sales, technical teams, and operations to remove blockers Provide accurate weekly/monthly forecasting to senior leadership Work with marketing on lead quality and campaign effectiveness Essential Experience Team lead/management experience is not required 3+ years selling IT managed services, MSP solutions, or complex IT infrastructure Proven track record closing deals £10k–£100k+ in Technology, IT services, cloud, cyber security, or managed support Product knowledge: Hardware & software, managed services, cloud solutions (Azure, AWS, M365), cyber security, network infrastructure Understanding of IT service delivery: SLAs, service contracts, ITIL, recurring revenue models Experience with technical sales cycles involving IT managers, CTOs, and business stakeholders Additional Skills Leadership & Coaching: Ability to inspire, motivate, and develop sales professionals Strong coaching skills with proven ability to improve performance Comfortable managing underperformance decisively Communication & Collaboration: Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to build strong relationships with customers and internal teams Communicate complex IT solutions in business terms Compensation & Benefits Competitive base salary + commission Benefits package: pension, wellbeing support Incentives: recognition programmes, commission structure About Cura Technology Specialist provider of IT managed services, cyber security, telecoms, and cloud solutions.
