Fundraising Manager

3 days/week

Up to £48,000 FTE

Flexible, Hybrid

A fun and vibrant charity, based in Sutton, is looking for a well rounded Fundraising Manager, focussing on Individual Giving, to join the thriving team

This is a small charity with income around £200k and growing. You'll need to have a background in a range of income streams and be confident setting up Individual Giving campaigns as well as working with the team on Legacy, Events, Trusts and Foundations etc.

There's a strong focus on the local community and the office base is also a centre for lots of activity, including yoga, quizzes, art and cooking The team work to support those in need of assistance to access technology, daily necessities and leisure activities.

Main Responsibilities:

• Manage existing, and grow the pipeline of Trusts and Foundations, with particular emphasis on multi-year relationships and new opportunities.

• Support the General Operations Manager and Trustees on contributing to bid writing and reporting to key funders like The National Lottery.

• Regular Giving: Inspire new supporters to raise money, while maintaining and developing relationships with existing supporters.

• Develop and launch a legacy strategy.

• Explore corporate and community fundraising opportunities and take forward in agreement with Chief Executive.

Essential Experience

• Proven track record in persuasive writing for fundraising audiences.

• Experience of charity fundraising over a range of methods including individual giving, community fundraising and legacy bequests.

• Understanding of Trusts and Foundations.

• Experience of a wide range of communication methods including press and social media.

• An understand of the role and contribution of volunteers in the work of voluntary sector organisation.
