Infrastructure Estate Manager

We're looking for a competent and knowledgeable Estates Infrastructure Manager to join our friendly and dynamic team You will be integral in the delivery of estates obligations to meet the digital requirements of a wide range of capital and construction projects in line with Trust's capital plan and estates strategy. The purpose of this role is to lead the delivery of a communications infrastructure to enable the digital team to carry out the Trust Vision with the best digital technology. You will be the interface between the Estates & FM department, the Trusts wide-ranging stakeholders, the ICT department and the external design teams and contractors to ensure all schemes are delivered in accordance with agreed specifications, timeframes and buildings.
a background in physical communications and digital requirements- experience of producing technical specifications in relation to physical communications infrastructure- the ability to provide judgements on a wide range of highly complex IT related issues- specialist knowledge of technological developments
Personal Skills/Qualities- Previous project management experience- Self-motivated and organised- Time management- Communication skills, written and verbal.- Particular focus is on developing and maintaining the Trusts infrastructure specifications, ensuring adherence to Trust specifications and policies and checking governance is correctly carried out, and recorded for audit purposes.
Give advice on building infrastructure, equipment and services where related to IT and communications
- Provide judgements on a wide range of highly complex Estates projects IT related issues
- Sign off all incoming drawings, specifications and project documents in relation to the physical communications infrastructure
- Communicate highly complex project information to stakeholders
- Proactive approach in managing risks and issues

AutoCAD or similar package qualification or equivalent experience
Project management experience; including managing and delivering complex communications infrastructure projects across boundaries.
Extensive experience and understanding complex organisations at a senior level
Ability to conduct commercial transactions
Experience of liaising with and representing users interests in connection to projects and programmes.
Experience in change management, service transformation, efficiency programmes and introducing new ways of working
