Location: - Remote- with travel
Russell Taylor Group have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Sales Manager who has had previous experience specialising in the agriculture industry to join our clients rapidly expanding manufacturing organisation.
This is a brand-new role for our client, and this is the start of their growth around the UK, so this is the perfect opportunity for someone to get out and about to customers and sell our clients products to a range of new clients as well as maintain the existing client database too.
It is a brilliant opportunity to join a company who are going through significant growth and where there is plenty of career progression opportunities. Gain market intelligence.
Frequent travel around the UK visiting current and potential new customers (closing sales)- Infrequent travel to company's office, when not on the road you will be working from home.
Further telephone and email communication
Building long-term relationships
Ensuring that the CRM is kept up to date and in line with GDPR and legislation.
Resolve any customer complaints to maintain customer loyalty.
Work closely with the management team, for example organising samples to ensure that the customer has a full understanding.
Expanding industry knowledge by attending workshops and reading literature to keep on top of market intelligence.
Proven sales experience in the agriculture industry or similar.
Strong market knowledge of agriculture and the equipment used.
Full UK driving licence and happy to travel frequently around the UK.
Educated to degree or equivalent within either horticulture & plant science.
Experience of driving performance and increasing profitability.
Experience of building and finalising new opportunities- proven track record is required.
