Job DescriptionSales Manager/Director Role

The Sales Manager/Director is responsible for identifying sales opportunities and driving them to successful closure.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Generate and close sales opportunities with a focus on large global organizations.
  2. Develop and maintain account plans per client and/or industry sector to ensure penetration into target accounts.
  3. Ability to understand complex customer requirements on both business and technical levels.
  4. Develop and provide custom presentations on products to allow customers to solve business problems or seize opportunities.
  5. Develop effective strategies for winning in a competitive environment.
  6. Coordinate, manage, direct, and motivate a virtual team during the sales cycle.
  7. Meet and exceed quarterly sales targets.
  8. Provide inputs and educate product management, marketing, and engineering organizations on customer needs and issues.

Requirements:

  • 8-12 years of experience in sales, with a proven track record of identifying, developing, and closing deals.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
  • Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work independently within a team environment.
  • Confident, competitive, thorough, and tenacious attitude.
  • Dynamic, driven, and able to pitch products to C-suite executives.
  • Experience selling new-age enterprise software is a must.
  • Agribusiness and/or commodities industry experience is a plus.
