What you will do in your working day
The duties and responsibilities involved in this role will involve:
Preparation of Financial Statements from client records.
Bookkeeping and VAT Return preparation using a variety of software (Quickbooks, Sage, Xero etc)
All aspect of practice administration, filing of physical and electronic documents & scanning, assisting with billing and supporting the Practice Manager with fulfilment of their duties. Social media contribution.
Learning all aspects of a payroll bureau function. Assisting with preparation of payslips and advising PAYE liabilities.
The training you will be getting
Training will be at North Lindsey Collegewhere you will access a wide range of facilities on offer.
Day release
You will undertake the Accounts or Finance Assistant Level 3 standard.
Apprenticeship search / Institute for Apprenticeships and Technical Education
You will undertake Functional Skills for English and/or Maths if needed.
You will undertake both on and off the job training by a team of industry-qualified professionals to give you the best skills, knowledge, and experience.
What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship
Successful completion of the apprenticeship could lead to a higher-level apprenticeship or full-time employment for the right candidate.

Things to consider
Relevant experience or qualification is preferred You must be able to travel to and from work and college. Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that's part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week).
