The position of Head Baker at our clients Organic Bakery is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and passionate baker looking to take on a leadership role. Responsibilities: Managing and overseeing the baking team Ensuring quality of all baked goods Creating and developing new recipes Maintaining inventory of baking supplies Ensuring health and safety standards are met (Salsa Standards ideally) Training new staff members Overseeing the entire baking process from materials ingress to customer delivery Working with suppliers to source high-quality ingredients Managing the bakery's budget Handling customer complaints and issues Requirements: Proven experience as a Head Baker or similar role Excellent baking skills Strong leadership and management skills 4Knowledge of health and safety regulations Ability to create and develop new recipes Good communication skills Ability to work under pressure Attention to detail Physical stamina and strength Culinary school background is a plus Skills Needed: Baking Leadership Communication Creativity Problem-solving Attention to detail Time management Decision-making Organizational skills Physical stamina The role calls for someone who not only excels in baking but also possesses strong leadership capabilities, creativity in recipe development, attention to detail, and effective communication skills.
