London | Hybrid | Competitive Base + £30k Commission | US Travel Join the commercial team behind the most influential events in the global specialty (re)insurance market. Insurance Insider's flagship conferences and awards in London and New York attract senior leaders from across the industry and we're looking for a driven Event Sales Executive to help grow this portfolio. This is a high-energy, revenue-generating role selling delegate passes, awards table packages, and sponsorship opportunities across some of the most respected events in the sector. You'll engage C-suite level executives daily, build strong pipelines, and play a key part in the success of our commercial events business. What You'll Do Drive delegate sales across three flagship conferences in the UK and US Promote and convert awards submissions, and sell premium table packages for major industry awards Prospect and close new sponsorship opportunities ("new logos") with support from marketing Build and maintain strong pipelines using Salesforce Pitch the value of attending, entering, or partnering with Insurance Insider events, clearly and consultatively Guide clients through registration and booking processes to ensure seamless experiences Develop strong relationships with industry leaders and represent the brand at events in London, New York, and occasionally Europe What We're Looking For 2+ years' experience in B2B event sales (delegate, awards, or sponsorship) Confident communicator who excels on the phone and in written outreach Comfortable selling to senior executives and closing consultative deals Target-driven, self-motivated, and energised by commercial success Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM systems is a plus Understanding of the financial services or insurance sector is beneficial but not required Why Join Us?
