About us

Accountants are not tax specialists so they miss out on £10,000s a year of revenue from their existing client base. GrowthPad help accountants identify R&D tax opportunities so they generate more money, keep their clients happy and grow their business.

Job Summary

GrowthPad is excited to announce that we are looking for an experienced B2B business development executive who can join and work alongside our fast-growing team.

You will be required to work closely with senior team members and be responsible for identifying new partnership opportunities with accountants and proactively opening doors with business owners in the manufacturing, engineering and software industries.

There is an opportunity for progression.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively generate leads and opportunities by identifying potential partnerships with accounting firms
  • Generate leads with engineering/manufacturing/software companies.
  • Develop and execute strategies to engage and establish relationships with key decision-makers in targeted accounting firms/engineering/manufacturing/software companies
  • Present and promote R&D tax services to prospective partners, demonstrating the value and benefits for their clients.
  • Achieve sales targets and objectives set by the company.
  • Maintain a solid understanding of R&D tax services to effectively communicate and advise potential partners.
  • Work independently to start, with the potential to grow and manage a sales team in the future. We will be growing numerous new service lines over the next 5 years.
  • Maintain accurate records of all sales activities and provide regular updates to the management team.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably in services targeting professional sectors like accounting or finance.
  • A track record of successfully generating leads and building business relationships.
  • Familiarity with the R&D tax sector is advantageous but not mandatory.

Skills:

  • Strong ability to open doors and initiate new business relationships.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team as it evolves.
  • Strong negotiation and relationship management skills.
  • Goal-oriented with a drive to meet and exceed targets.

Travel: Some travel may be required to meet potential clients or attend industry events.

Performance Evaluation:

  • Performance will be evaluated based on key performance indicators such as the number of new leads generated, partnerships established and contribution to sales targets.
