The Role Key purpose of the role is to manage a team of Environmental Enforcement Officers delivering across a range of community and environmental issues including environmental protection, environmental crime and other matters affecting the street scene and amenities of our community. Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to: support staff in the delivery of a range of issues including statutory nuisance, fly tipping, waste duty of care, stray dogs and abandoned vehicle investigations.review and shape service improvements to both policy and operating processes.

The Candidate To be considered for this role you will be required to have a degree or its equivalent in Environmental Health and a sound working knowledge of the relevant regulatory frameworks. It will be essential to have an extensive level of knowledge of the below: Experience of conducting environmental permit inspections and processing of permit applications.
You will be expected to manage officers with a range of technical and regulatory experience ensuring a customer focussed approach. The client is looking to move quickly with this role and as such are offering £225 per day Umbrella Ltd.
