Reporting directly to the Principal, you will be a key member of the School Leadership Team, providing direction, inspiration, and guidance to our Secondary teaching staff and playing a significant role in strategic planning. Focused on developing a high-performing team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the school including staff development, performance management, and deployment. You will also be responsible for developing creative and innovative learning experiences and opportunities to enhance our already high standards of academic attainment and progress. With the ability to drive excellence by valuing and developing others, you will be a qualified teacher with experience in both hands-on teaching and management in education. Strong on leadership and people management, you will have a flair for bringing people with you, setting and meeting challenging performance targets and engaging with parents and students alike.
A strong ambassador for the school, you will be able to develop new ways to engage students and parents with the wider school and Nord Anglia Education community. Committed and creative, you will be reflective on your own teaching and student outcomes, seeking out and implementing new ideas and innovative methods to raise the school’s level of achievement.
You will also be able to meet visa-related restrictions for Yangon, Myanmar, including having a bachelor’s degree and teaching certificate.
