REPORTING TO: NI. Wholesale Key Account Manager
MAIN PURPOSE:
· The Business Development Executive is tasked with driving and developing sales for the company's owned and principal brand portfolio within designated end-user and wholesale accounts. The role focuses on securing usage of the product portfolio by end users and achieving agreed KPI targets related to call coverage, conversions, promotional execution, and product distribution. Performance will be tracked and measured weekly and monthly.

MAIN TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Drive sales growth for the brand portfolio within designated end user accounts
· Identify and secure new business opportunities with end users and wholesale accounts
· Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within targeted accounts
· To successfully execute core and tactical call cycles following agreement with Wholesale KAM, Sales & Commercial Managers
· Feedback regular market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive activity
· Maintain accurate records of sales activities, account management, promotional efforts along with capturing detailed customer contact information
· The prompt and accurate completion of all administration
· To track and report all customer interactions using the company CRM platform
· To show innovation in achieving solutions to problems and opportunities
· To ensure that all customer activities align with the commercial strategy and achieve end-user distribution across key account channels including Workplace & Education, Travel & Leisure, Hotel & Pub Groups, Fast Casual, Self-Serve/Takeaway, Retail Convenience and Manufacturing
· To execute product distribution drives and customer support activity as agreed with the Commercial Team, Principals and wholesale KAM
· Drive performance of agreed concepts in order to deliver sales for Excellence company owned and principal brands in conjunction with Excellence Commercial Managers.
· To conduct or assist in product demonstrations within your designated end user base
· To achieve any credit control targets
· Foster effective relationship generation and management across the team members.

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
· A minimum of 2 years’ experience in sales and business development, preferably within the Food service , FMCG or related industry.
· Motivated, ambitious, resilient and proactive
· Strong understanding of sales processes and techniques.
· Self-motivated and results-oriented with a track record of achieving sales targets
· Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
· Good organisational and planning skills
· Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
· A full, clean and current driving licence

DESIRABLE CRITERIA:
· Degree in any discipline (Preferably Marketing, Business or Hospitality)
· Merchandising and field sales experience
· Practical culinary experience in a commercial kitchen
Salary £35,000 + 10% bonus
