I’ve partnered with a leading provider of analytical testing services, and they are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sample Registration Technician to join their team. As a Sample Registration Technician, you will play a crucial role in the efficient and accurate registration of samples received for testing, ensuring proper documentation and tracking throughout the laboratory workflow. Responsibilities:
- Receive and record incoming samples, ensuring accurate and complete information is entered into the laboratory information management system (LIMS).
- Verify sample details, including sample type, identification, and associated documentation.
- Ensure proper labelling, numbering, and storage of samples to maintain sample integrity and traceability.
- Collaborate with laboratory teams to prioritize and distribute samples for analysis, following established protocols and turnaround times.
- Maintain accurate and organized sample records, maintaining confidentiality and data security.
- Assist with inventory management, including tracking and ordering of supplies.
- Maths, English, Chemistry or Biology at GCSE grade C or above or equivalent
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment, effectively managing multiple tasks and priorities.
- Enthusiasm and driven outlook to achieve results.
- Proficient computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
