Rent Accounting Officer

As part of our Finance team, you’ll ensure that contents insurance is promoted to tenants and assist in posting all rent charges and transactions. You’ll support the wider finance team and our private rented sector team (ForLiving).

What you’ll be doing:

  • Assisting with posting all rent charges and transactions.
  • Providing financial information and guidance.
  • Working with the rent control team to resolve queries.
  • Producing annual and quarterly statements for tenants in rent arrears.
  • Processing rent refunds to tenants.
  • Ensuring correct rent charges are charged to new tenants.
  • Being a link between the finance team and the PRS (private rented sector) team.

What we’re looking for:

  • Great communications skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience in a similar environment would be ideal.
  • An understanding of rent regulations and legislation would be ideal.
