What you’ll do…

As a Process Commissioning Manager, you’ll be responsible to develop and deliver the commissioning plan of our manufacturing processes in the UK. The role is based on-site in our Somerset plant, with occasional travel to our suppliers and other vendors in the UK and abroad.

Reporting into the Head of Process Engineering, you will:

  • Form and lead an integrated team; driving and delivering a complex process commissioning plan.
  • Work with stakeholders to compile the requirements for each unit process and integrated process, being clear on acceptance criteria for the operational qualification and product qualification stages

The UK business headquarters is in the Midlands and we are currently building a battery manufacturing facility in Bridgwater, Somerset.

The team you’ll join…

The Process Engineering team is a dynamic group working across a range of areas such as electrode, cell assembly, FA&T (formation, ageing and testing), control and automation, manufacturing systems and digital manufacturing. Being a relatively new team, you’ll play a critical part in creating processes and help building large scale manufacturing lines from the ground up.

What you’ll bring…

Experience of leading commissioning activities (Operational and Product Qualification) for a large cell assembly manufacturing site

Poses a strong understanding of risks associated, and methods for mitigating risks

Understands the process of Pre Start-Up Safety Review and the safe introduction of hazardous materials

Knowledge of the transfer of Care, Custody and Control

An understanding of COMAH regulation and its implications on site start-up
