Senior Process Engineer

RB Plant are a growing multi-discipline Engineering Consultancy with over 50 years of experience providing the complete project solution across a wide range of industries.

As part of this growth and success we are looking for a dynamic and pragmatic Senior Process Engineer.

Job Overview

In this role you will be integral in the full lifecycle of projects from inception to completion and commissioning. This role will include both technical aspects of process design and implementation as well as project management working in a range of industrial sectors such as chemicals, glass, minerals, metals, catalysts, Paper & Packaging, Battery Materials, food & drink, pharmaceuticals and healthcare.

Key Responsibilities:

· Process design and implementation; conducting process calculations and developing design deliverables such as PFDs, Mass and Heat Balances, P&IDs, schedules and equipment datasheets.

· Leading commissioning, qualification and validation activities for a range of processes and bespoke equipment.

· Project management of large-scale projects, managing project timelines and budgets.

· Provision of technical support to production, start up and wider manufacturing groups.

· Preparation and maintaining detailed documentation for various processes or equipment, including User Requirement Specification (URS), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Installation & Operational Qualification (IOQ).

· Provision of process engineering expertise for the evaluation of process risk assessments, such as HAZOP, FMEA, SIL and LOPA.

· Provide resolution to problems by identifying issues and assisting in process optimization.

· Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory standards, depending on the industrial sector.

Skills and Qualifications:

· Degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field and ideally chartered or working towards

· Demonstrated track record with relevant experience working in a regulated industry,

· Good oral, written and presentation skills.

· Project management experience is desirable.

· Proficient in MS Office suite.

· Ability to work collaboratively in different teams or autonomously as required.

· Ideally Experience of Working in a multidiscipline team and working on projects from idea through to commissioning
