About the role:

Unifi are a Microsoft Solutions Partner providing businesses with Microsoft Dynamics solutions and business support services.

We are currently recruiting for a Microsoft Dynamics 365Consultant to join our growing team. This role is focussed around the implementation and support of Business Central into our base which includes a strong distribution and manufacturing element.

You will also support junior team members with their development and day to day support as well as wider senior team members on occasion.

Objective of the Role:

The objective of this role is to take a consultative approach to implement and deliver Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central projects and services to our customers. You will provide first class support to our customers and become a key supporting long term partner.

Other tasks will include scope and solution design works, project management and providing second line support to our customer base.

You will also support the wider team working closely with other members of the business where required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To effectively engage with customers (internal and external) in a professional manner
  • To understand typical business processes and provide advice and consultancy for clients when required
  • To architect and develop / configure effective solutions for our clients and seek agreement
  • To prepare scope and project planning related documentation
  • To become highly proficient in the use of supporting Power Platform technologies when architecting and supporting solutions
  • To build reporting in Excel and possibly via Jet Reports
  • To build and test such solutions both internally and with customers
  • To train end users and consider their needs in a kind and supporting manner
  • To support and deliver implementations from various source systems whilst overcoming the challenges this presents
  • To support customers post go live in a professional manner
  • To support the sales engine with opportunity spotting and support activities as directed
  • To ensure deliverables are clearly defined and delivered within time and budget (subject to change control)
  • To adhere to the Unifi project management methodology and effectively manage your time

Person Specification:

  • Highly confident with providing support and training to users
  • Strong attention to detail and a keen desire to deliver the highest quality solutions to customers
  • Experience across a number of industries inc. distribution, jobs and manufacturing
  • Able to scope and design solutions that are fit for purpose
  • Business analysis and problem solving skills
  • Well-developed client facing skills
  • A track record of implementing business solutions ideally Business Central or Dynamics 365 NAV
  • A background or ideally part qualification in accounting accreditations such as AAT, CIMA or ACCA
  • Experience with typical management reporting needs of a business
  • More than 2 years’ experience of implementing
  • Able to travel across the UK with occasional overnight stays

Beneficial:

  • PRINCE2 or equivalent project management certification
  • Power Platform skills, primarily in Power Automate and Power BI
  • Other Dynamics 365 skills, such as Sales, Customer Service and/or Field Service
  • Experience of add on'ssuch as Jet Reports, Netronic and Tasklet Mobile WMS
  • Basic AL development experience in Business Central

Education/Training:

  • Be able to show clear evidence of continual learning in your career to date
  • Any Microsoft ERP or Power Platform accreditation
