As a Commercial Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of their procurement processes and overall commercial activities. This position involves reviewing requisition requests, processing orders, and providing crucial support in various commercial functions. Attention to detail and commitment to compliance will contribute significantly to the success of the project.
Review requisition requests and ensure accurate and timely processing in SAP.
Provide valuable support in raising subcontract orders within the SAP system, fostering collaboration with project teams and external partners.
Issue clear and concise correspondence to relevant suppliers and subcontractors, maintaining open lines of communication and addressing queries promptly.
Ensure bought ledger invoice clearance within agreed payment terms, proactively raising queries with suppliers when discrepancies arise.
Collate and input data into cost allocation systems, supporting effective cost control and financial management.
Provide general support in various commercial functions, demonstrating flexibility and a proactive approach to contributing to overall business objectives.
Attend relevant meetings and training sessions to stay informed about company policies, industry trends, and continuously improve professional skills.
Ensure strict compliance and adherence to project and company commercial procedures, following an agreed process for cost control.
Experience with SAP and Excel
