Purpose of Job:

To work within a small team who look after the learning content within the Supply Chain Sustainability School. Your main role will be to update and adapt existing e-learning, as well as create new e-learning from a specific brief. You will also be required to create and amend existing animated videos.

The role’s key objective is to create excellent quality and engaging e-learning for our Partners of the School and our clients.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Developing rich content in e‑learning authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline and Articulate Rise.
  • Incorporating graphics, audio, and video where required.
  • Advanced working knowledge of Articulate Storyline.
  • Understand the learning management system that the School uses to be able to support the knowledge team and wider team with providing excellent customer experience when learning through the School
  • Regular uploading/handling SCORM based content to an LMS
  • Creating content in Adobe Premier Pro and Illustrator.
  • Appreciate the different software/graphical solutions available to address specific requirements and make informed decisions on the most appropriate to use.
  • Working with the knowledge management team to amend where relevant an expansive suite of e-learning modules. This includes updating factual content, improving brand adherence, and enhancing engagement for the learner.
  • Following a brief to create bespoke e-learning and aligning to the process from storyboarding to end result.
  • Creating animations using software such as Vyond.
  • Localising content to different sectors, markets, regions, countries.
  • Uploading courses to Moodle and administrating Moodle as required.
  • Video Production and Editing in relation to e-learning modules that contain video content.

A mix of technical and communication skills will be required for the successful applicant. Specifically:

  • Working knowledge of Adobe Premier Pro and Illustrator (experience with Abobe Creative Cloud as a whole desirable).
  • Proficient in Articulate Storyline and Articulate Rise.
  • Experience in delivering e-learning content to a specific brief, with thorough attention to detail.
  • Working knowledge of learning management systems and proficient in uploading/handling SCORM based content to an LMS.
  • Willingness to work collaboratively and responsively with colleagues and key stakeholders.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritise in a busy environment.
  • Has a creative flair with a keen interest to develop and translate this into the e-learning.
  • Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail and ability to work in a flexible and creative way.
  • Excellent IT skills including proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, excel and Word.
  • Proactive approach – a “can do” attitude and proven ability to make things happen.
  • Takes on full ownership and responsibility for their work, solve problems and manage workload proactively.
  • Ability to engage meaningfully with stakeholders, good relationship, and trust building skills.
  • At least 1 year working in a commercial environment.
  • Experience of animation software e.g. Vyond (desirable).
  • Passion for sustainability (desirable).
  • Understanding of the built environment (desirable).

Reporting to: Knowledge Manager

Qualifications:

  • Degree-level education in Digital Media & Graphic Design, or equivalent.
