Job Overview:

As a Talent Manager, you will play a crucial role in shaping the careers of our roster of talent. This position involves identifying and developing opportunities, managing client relationships, and strategically guiding talent to maximise their potential and impact. You will work closely with other departments to ensure a cohesive approach to talent management that aligns with our company’s values and objectives.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the career development of a dedicated roster of talent, providing strategic advice and support to foster their professional growth.
  • Secure and negotiate contracts and partnerships that are aligned with the talent’s brand and long-term goals. Drive revenue through thoughtful and targeted business development efforts.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, including brands and other stakeholders, ensuring mutual satisfaction and long-term engagement.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive strategies for talent promotion and monetisation, including social media presence, public relations, and brand ambassadorships.
  • Manage and negotiate contracts ensuring the terms are beneficial and protect the interests of the talent.
  • Track and analyse the performance of talent against agreed-upon metrics and industry benchmarks, making adjustments to strategies as needed.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Talent to expand the talent roster by identifying and recruiting new creators who demonstrate significant commercial potential and align with our strategic goals.
  • Assist in the management and training of the internal team, ensuring effective team structure and delivery of objectives.
Qualifications and Attributes:
  • A minimum of 4 years experience in influencer management.
  • Strong understanding of the market dynamics and what drives success in the talent’s respective field.
  • Excellent negotiation, organisational, and project management skills.
  • Proven record of generating new business and selling.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and relationships simultaneously.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • A passion for and understanding of the creator economy.
  • High level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information.
  • Proactive and independent with a high degree of enthusiasm and a results-driven approach.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.
  • An understanding of the need for representation in the influencer industry
  • A strong work ethic, combined with the understanding that in a small business environment, every task—no matter the size—plays a crucial role in our overall success.
