Job Title: Data Administrator (Purchasing)

Our client, a leading organisation based in Crewe, is seeking a skilled Purchase Administrator to join their team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting the Purchase Department by maintaining vendor and part price data within their system databases. With the opportunity to contribute to continuous improvement activities, this position is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to make a difference. As a Purchase Administrator, your responsibilities will include: Providing central administrative support to the Purchase Department, including attending and supporting team meetings and assisting with any ad hoc tasks as required.Reporting Purchase statistical data for internal and Group use, preparing monthly general purchase reports and KPI packs, and providing relevant reports and information to other functional areas when needed.
Ensuring accurate and up-to-date maintenance of data within the Purchase systems, including part price, vendor details, and purchase order maintenance.
Proactively participating in continuous improvement activities, bringing new ideas and suggestions to enhance processes and drive efficiency.To excel in this role, you will need: Demonstrable experience of PC usage, including competency in EDCL.
Previous experience in administration within a relevant field.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.While not required, experience working with SAP within a Purchase environment will be advantageous.
