About The Role
Bidvest Noonan is seeking a Payroll Manager to join a well-established and proficient payroll team. Competitive salary and benefits provided for this hybrid role. Key Accountabilities- Responsible for timely and accurate processing of payroll, pension and third-party payments
- Acting as key stakeholder interface with Operations teams
- Reconciliation of payroll balance sheet accounts
- Preparing and issuing payment files to bank
- Supervising the work of payroll team members
- Advising on taxes and employment laws on salary
- Calculating wage increments, overtime payments and public holiday pay
- Hiring and training new payroll team members
- Analysing and reporting payroll data
- Auditing the payroll to make sure it satisfies all government regulations
- Developing and refining payroll procedures
- Interacting with internal and external auditors
- Ipass certified or other relevant payroll qualification
- Proven work experience as a Senior payroll Manager or similar role, with an in-depth knowledge of payroll processes, regulations, and best practices
- Dealing with all aspects of the payroll process, BIK, pension, and other voluntary and statutory deductions
- Strong understanding of payroll software systems
- Proficiency in using spreadsheet software (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets) for data analysis and reporting.
- Proven ability to manage and work as part of a team.
- Outstanding focus on precision and attention to detail, coupled with the capability to securely manage confidential information
- Outstanding focus on details, possessing both the ability and eagerness to engage in meticulous work with a hands-on approach.
- Highly organised and ability to adapt quickly changing priorities.
- Exhibit a clear and professional communication style that is articulate, applicable across all organisational levels.
- Ability to build strong business relationships
- Degree level or equivalent
- Working in the Facilities Management Industry
- Working within large scale, multi-site teams
- Knowledge payroll system Megapay preferable but not essential
- Knowledge of Timepoint system Timegate preferable but not essential
- Indicative and subject to market test -Salary Range ₠50 - ₠55k
- 10% bonus
- 25 days holiday
- Pension 5% EE & 5% ER
