Business Development Manager

Catalent Micron Technologies Dartford facility specializes in particle size reduction technologies and integrated analytical services for the pharmaceutical industry. We are looking for a Business Development Manager to join the team.
Responsible for meeting and exceeding financial and other growth targets for the site.
# Utilising corporate marketing and Inside Sale Resources to improve awareness and secure new business.
# Support metrics tracking, reporting and forecasting business through obtaining information from customers and preparing for regular meetings with key customers.
# Accurately manage opportunities within SalesForce.com.
# Continually evaluate and adapt new business and customer processes to create greater efficiency and effectiveness in pursuing new business and managing existing customers.

Degree in a scientific discipline, business, or related field.
# Relevant industry knowledge of API manufacturing or development, analytical research and scale-up, product manufacturing.
# Combined sales and/or sales management experience in the pharmaceutical contract services sales (CDMO), pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or life sciences industries.
# Distinct knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry and drug development and/or analytics is preferred.
# Experienced contract negotiator.
# Analytical, financial, and statistical skills.
# MS Office skills.
# Read, understand, interpret, and apply technical writing and instructions including manufacturing instructions.
# Demonstrated ability to read, write, and speak clear English.
