As Head of Procurement you will be responsible for developing our Procurement function to cover all elements of expenditure and supplier management, be responsible for the provision of professional procurement expertise and maximising our order efficiency across the RNLI. The key areas of spend include logistics, construction, technology, engineering, marketing and business services.
This role will form a part of our Engineering and Supply (E&S) Department Senior Leadership Team. The E&S Department design, build, supply, support and maintain the RNLI’s buildings, boats and equipment to help save lives and keep our people safe. This will be achieved by empowering people to be the best they can be and embracing data, innovative thinking and technology to continually improve reliability, safety and availability.
Implement a new procurement tool suite including P2P, Catalogues and Warehousing
Drive savings and efficiencies in procurement contracts and purchasing, contributing to a more affordable and sustainable RNLI
To be considered as our new Head of Procurement you will also need to be able to demonstrate:
A strong track record of value delivery, partnership development and risk reduction
Demonstrable experience of building capability within and across teams
