To join a friendly and supportive theatre team to deliver excellent patient care during the perioperative episode.

As a Senior Theatre Practitioner, you will:

  • Be responsible for providing skilled clinical and technical assistance as a member of the operating theatre team.
  • Provide continuous competent and dedicated assistance under the direct supervision of the operating surgeon throughout the procedure.
  • Promoting best practice and contributing towards quality improvements.
  • Acting as an SFA within scope of practice, across a caseload of orthopaedic, general, gynaecology and urology surgery.
  • Working as a Theatre Practitioner across various specialities when not acting as SFA.

As a Senior Theatre practitioner, you will have:

  • Registered Practitioner with NMC or HCPC registration.
  • Surgical First Assistant Qualification.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Immediate Life Support provider.
  • Mentorship qualification.
