Venesky-Brown’s client, a public sector organisation in Edinburgh, is currently looking to recruit a Programme Director who will be responsible for ongoing leadership and day-to-day management on behalf of the Chief Executive and will act as Senor Responsible Officer (SRO) to ensure that desired programme outcomes and objectives are delivered. Initial 6 month contract with potential to extend on a rate of £700-£800/day (Inside IR35). This role will be hybrid working with at least three days per week in the Edinburgh office.

 

 
Day to day leadership and management of the Business Improvement Programme and oversight of associated workstreams
- Help to embed an increased focus on delivery and outcomes through the organisation’s Project Management Office.
- Comfortable coaching and mentoring colleagues with less experience, adopting a collaborative and inclusive approach.
- Flexible mindset. Chartered membership to a professional body associated with the business, change management, HR, law, IT or finance is beneficial.
- Experience of project work, working to tight deadlines, driving an outcome.
