My long-standing international client is looking for an experienced business development/ecommerce manager to join their UK & Europe team.

This is a pivotal role in driving business success, managing existing accounts and developing eCommerce B2B and Marketplace sales channels.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective eCommerce growth strategies to identify and capture new business opportunities.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential prospects, conduct outreach, and build relationships.
  • Analyse data and generate reports to track eCommerce performance, identify trends and make data-driven recommendations for improvements.
  • Demonstrate products with sales data to prospective business, negotiate contracts and close sales deals.
  • Optimise end-to-end eCommerce journey, from lead generation to conversion.
  • Build and maintain B2B and D2C client accounts via constant communication.
  • Work closely with the Marketing team to maximise the commercial potential of new product launches.
  • Maintain SEO on all client websites by analysing reporting and advising recommendations.
  • Create client price lists using relevant pricing structure, as well as producing client profit reports.
  • Manage promotions and advertising with retailers, tracking and reporting results.

Requirements:

  • Relevant sales experience in either B2B or DTC.
  • Proven record of driving online sales and achieving targets.
  • Solid understanding of eCommerce platforms, tools and technologies, including online marketplaces, payment gateways, order management systems, and customer relationship management (CRM) software.
