We are recruiting for a creative, energetic and skilled Volunteer Coordinator. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role helping the people we support rebuild their self confidence and make a real difference to people’s lives.

Why are we recruiting?

Firstly, to improve the volunteering opportunities for people living in Branches hostel, as a path
towards employment; and
Secondly, to bring in a broad range of volunteers who will complement and work alongside staff, for the
benefit of people living in Branches hostel.

About the successful candidate
• A strong communicator who is passionate about the importance of volunteering, and the opportunities
it can provide.
• An entrepreneurial spirit to effectively deliver our volunteer programme.
• Proactive and solution focused.
• Bring real experience of developing and supporting volunteers.
• Able to develop and secure volunteering opportunities for the client group – people living in
Branches hostel.

About the role
• You’ll report to the CEO and join a vibrant Management Team
• You’ll be based in Branches hostel in Walthamstow
• This is a part-time role: you’ll be paid a pro rata salary of £24,000 for a 4-day week; or £18,000
for a 3-day week, equivalent to £30,000 a year, to start.
