Our Aviation Safety Academy (ASA) is recruiting a Senior Account Manager (KAM) to drive growth and proactively contribute to the development of our global brand. The ASA provides training across our entire portfolio of courses via an open schedule and is often the first contact point through which our clients access our products and services. Working as part of an account team, the successful candidate will support clients to identify the best solution for their needs across Key Accounts and a personal Territory to manage and grow revenues and long-term opportunities. In addition to managing their own territory they will lead the Academy team on key initiatives such as driving Partner Plus sales; Key Account development and Marketing campaign follow ups. The Business Development and Sales department has three core areas: Academy training; In-company training and Consultancy and Large Programmes (C&LP). This role is part of the Academy training team.
The KAM will report to the Head of Sales and Business Development and lead a small team of Account Managers.
Please note that the successful candidate will need to be happy to undertake a background check that includes criminal record check.
Achieve personal sales target and lead by example through consistently high activity rates e.g. call numbers, duration, conversion rates
Support Academy team to hit their individual targets, identifying opportunities to sell onto the schedule, maximise course occupancy and proactively manage territory to generate new business leads and develop existing accounts
Track team performance and work with each KAM on KPI’s and areas of development
Professionally handle in-bound Academy training enquiries (web, email, phone, referrals) within agreed SLAs
Ensure all enquiries are managed through our CRM system
Work with consultants and Product team to respond to all client enquiries with the most appropriate training solution
Minimum of 2 years’ successful sales experience.
Experience in a consultative sales environment
Prior sales team leadership experience is preferable but not essential. Aviation experience whilst helpful is not essential as training will be given.
