We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Healthcare Worker to join our team in Bakewell, Derbyshire. As a Senior Healthcare Worker, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest level of care and support for our residents. This position requires someone with exceptional medication administration skills, team leadership abilities, and a commitment to delivering person-centered care. Key Responsibilities: Conducting medication rounds in accordance with established protocols and ensuring accurate documentation. Leading and supervising a team of healthcare assistants to ensure the delivery of high-quality care. Developing and implementing care plans tailored to the individual needs of residents. Providing assistance with personal care tasks, mobility, and activities of daily living. Monitoring and recording residents' health status, reporting any changes to the appropriate healthcare professionals. Promoting a safe and supportive environment for residents, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times. Building positive relationships with residents, their families, and other members of the care team. Requirements: Medication training and proven experience in medication administration. Previous experience in team leadership or supervisory roles within a healthcare setting. Proficiency in developing and implementing care plans. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritise tasks accordingly. A valid driving license and access to a reliable vehicle due to the rural location of the job. Flexibility to work full-time hours without any work restrictions. Strong commitment to providing compassionate and dignified care to residents. Preferred Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification. Experience working with elderly or vulnerable individuals.
