General Practitioner Partner

GP Partnership opportunity or Salaried GP with development opportunity towards Partnership, 6 sessions per week.
The post-holder will be expected to undertake all normal duties and responsibilities associated with a GP working within primary care, including:
# Surgery consultations and queries
# Telephone consultations
# Managing patient test results, medical reports, and examinations
# Writing referral letters and correspondence
# Compiling and issuing computer-generated acute and repeat prescriptions
# Awareness of and compliance with all relevant practice policies/guidelines
# Attending training, Practice Meetings, and events where appropriate
We are a very friendly rural practice with an expanding list size, currently 5300. Great Staughton is located five miles from St Neots with excellent transport links to the A1/A14. We were rated first for patient experience in the 2022/2023 GP Patient Survey and we have an excellent reputation.
We regularly welcome medical students from Cambridge University and other universities including Brighton and UEA.
We value our staff and their wellbeing and are mindful of the need for flexible working, which we fully support. Work as an autonomous practitioner, responsible for the provision of medical services to the practice population, delivering an excellent standard of clinical care whilst complying with the GMS contract. The post-holder will adhere to the GMC standards for good medical practice, contribute to the effective management of the practice, and maintain a positive, collaborative working relationship with the multidisciplinary team.
Vocational Training Certificate or equivalent JCPTGP
General Practitioner (Certificate of Completion of Training CCT)
This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and will require a submission for Disclosure to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.
