As a UX leader you will you will lead the delivery of strategic research to support high risk or ambiguous problem spaces, and support delivery teams with their tactical research. You will be a champion of our customers, ensuring evidence-based, data-driven approaches to product design and delivery to achieve high customer satisfaction, user growth and innovation, consolidating Dext’s position as a best-in-class solution in the accounting industry and B2B (SMB) SaaS/ Fintech landscape.
This role is pivotal in helping shape this direction. 
Collaborate with design, product, and marketing counterparts to understand business requirements and design tailored research initiatives to generate user-centric insights.
Plan and execute user research activities; surveys, in-depth interviews, field studies, and concept/prototype evaluations.
Foster collaboration among designers, product managers, marketers, and sales teams to translate insights into actionable insights that drive innovation and implementation.
Forge partnerships with fellow researchers and data analytics, to craft holistic research strategies triangulating data from diverse sources, creating informed recommendations. Present compelling research findings accompanied by clear-cut recommendations.
Proficient in coaching product management teams in user research, enabling high-quality research outputs. Present compelling research findings accompanied by clear-cut recommendations.
Possess 7+ years of experience in user or design research. Hold a degree in Psychology, Cognitive Science, Human Factors, Anthropology, Human-Computer Interaction, Design, or a related field—or equivalent experience.
Demonstrated track record of utilising UX research to sway decision makers towards altering product strategies and roadmaps.
Exhibit the capability to independently devise and execute research roadmaps for large-scale, intricate projects amidst high levels of ambiguity or complexity.
Demonstrate a deep understanding of conventional and emerging research methodologies, enabling the creation of multi-method research plans underpinned by solid rationale.
Possess the ability to analyse existing research from various internal and external sources to formulate well-founded opinions.
Consistently contribute to the advancement and refinement of UX practices through advocacy and thought leadership across the organisation.
Proficiency in technical aspects of UX research methods and practices
Experience working in the accountancy or financial services sector
