Dynamics Specialist

AtkinsRéalis is one of the leading names in the field of Clean Water Network providing services to the Water market sector with some of our key clients being many of the UK’s water companies. We are looking for a strong collaborator, capable of supporting teams and delivering on remote projects as part of our national Practice.
The successful candidate shall demonstrate a comprehensive knowledge of the water market sector, excellent technical skills and have a proven track record of business development, client management, project management and line management. You will be required to undertake a key role in the delivery of clean water network Infrastructure projects and as well as being responsible in supporting the leadership and development of our Urban Drainage Modelling capability.
Model Build and Verification – creating robust sewer network models that are suitable for analysis and solution development.
Hydraulic and Water Quality Analysis – intelligent assessment of catchment hydraulics and pollutant sources to identify needs and risks.
Integrated Catchment Modelling – constructing models for assessing the interaction between sewers (storm and foul), watercourses and overland flows.
Catchment Planning– determination of hydraulic, environmental and operational needs of catchments and the development of various horizon strategies to improve catchment performance.
Technical Leadership – providing direction and advice to our clients to help them make better asset investment decisions.
Demonstrable track record of technical achievement and client satisfaction within the water industry.
Capable of building and maintaining strong relationships with internal staff and external Clients.
Ability to be flexible and to be able to multi-task and prioritize when necessary.
Full clean UK driving license.
The role will have key responsibilities relating to business performance, business resilience and technical reputation and will contribute to the implementation of business strategy.Assume Technical Lead role on projects to ensure AtkinsRéalis delivers Smarter, Faster and More Reliable outcomes for its clients.
Undertake Project Director role on projects where required.
Undertake Programme / Framework Manager roles on strategic / multi-disciplinary projects.
Promote staff development through training, on-the-job experience, and personal development.
Ensure compliance with corporate standards and policies.
Client Relationship Development with our key Water Company and non-Water Company clients with the strategic growth of both revenue and margin.
Promote the merge of more traditional engineering skills with innovative digital methods.
Management / technical support of bidding opportunities to win work and identify and mitigate risks.
