Position Overview

CORE POWER is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Technology Analyst to join our dynamic team. Based in our brand-new offices in Chiswick Park, you will work closely with the Director of Analytics and the wider team in London, Washington, DC, and Tokyo.

The Analyst Team is a key pillar of CORE POWER’s market and stakeholder engagement, providing technical understanding and informing business decisions. In this role, you will interact with teams across CORE POWER to produce reports/articles/presentations on a wide range of subjects, helping to develop business cases, provide market insights, and inform business decisions. This is an excellent opportunity for a data-driven individual looking for progression in our fast-growing company.

The Technology Analyst role will take specific responsibility for research tasks related to engineering questions and will act as the team's internal expert on these matters. They will develop a comprehensive understanding of all the engineering challenges associated with the deployment of maritime nuclear power.

Key Responsibilities

  • Author research reports, forecasts, and articles covering advanced nuclear technologies and related markets.
  • Work on bespoke research and internal projects, providing leadership on approach and methodology.
  • Prepare presentations and participate in conferences, webinars, and online events.
  • Be an active team member and own a significant part of the overall research agenda.
  • Support business development activities by preparing customer-specific analyses and by participating in key meetings with clients, prospects, and partners.
  • Represent CORE POWER as a key expert in our coverage areas.

Educational Requirements

  • Degree in Engineering or a related STEM field.

Required Skills / Experience

  • Exemplary written and verbal communication skills
  • Understanding of Statistical methods and approaches
  • Ability to conduct and interpret research/analysis independently with demonstrated analytic and quantitative skills.
  • Ability to clearly communicate results and illustrate their impact.
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and comfortable collaborating across functions.
