Are you passionate about children’s publishing?
We have an exciting opportunity for a creative Senior Editor to join our Early Years and Picture Books team. This role is ideal for someone with at least three years’ experience in a full-colour children’s editorial department.
As Senior Editor, you’ll have the opportunity to work across a wide range of books – from fairy tales to fact files, novelty formats and more You’ll be part of an editorial team that are focussed on bringing exceptional stories to ALL children. You’ll have the chance to acquire, develop and publish exciting new picture book talent, fresh early learning formats and imaginative non-fiction.
Work across structural edits on a variety of fun projects
Write unique early years books, to add to our growing list
Attend industry events, when suitable, for networking, research and sourcing new talent
Work closely with our brilliant design team to help bring each and every story to life
Implement, maintain and help develop the house style
Comfortable with using MS Office, InDesign and Adobe Acrobat on a daily basis
A strong communicator and great at building relationships
A positive, can-do person with the ability to juggle multiple projects at once
A great team worker, who enjoys creative collaboration

We believe that all children should have access to great stories and endeavour to break down the barriers which often get in the way of reading.
