Main Activities

As an RPA you will be responsible for:

  • Provide radiation protection advice to clients that will ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Evaluate the operating environments and develop safe systems to ensure appropriate standards of radiological safety.
  • Participate in the development, testing and evaluation of operating instructions and contingency arrangements.
  • Develop and motivate junior personnel within the Health Physics operating team.
  • Review operational HP data and initiate follow-up action as required.
  • Achieve visits to site, attend to meeting with clients.
  • Promote services that CERAP can provide to the client.
  • Be in touch with the team in our international offices.

As a RP commercial developer, you will also be responsible for:

  • Account Management for existing business
  • Strategy development
  • Build your network
  • Attend to event
  • Create brochures with the communication team

Requirements

  • It is essential for the suitable candidate to have a Certificate of Competence to be a Radiation Protection Advisor
  • A Degree or equivalent qualification in a science subject
  • 3-5 years’ experience in the delivery of Radiation Protection Advice
  • The ability to develop and maintain relationships at a senior level
  • The ability to work within an international team
