An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Research Associate to join the School of Health Sciencesto work with Dr Zarnie Khadjesari, Associate Professor in Health Sciences.You will contribute to the NIHR-funded AIR SAFETY study, which will develop an Artificial Intelligence Air Safety Tool (AISaT). AISaT is computer software that guides users on how to best reduce airborne infection risks in hospitals, using cheap solutions like air filters. The team will investigate whether AISaT works and offers value for money. The team will also develop guidance on how to use AISaT across the NHS. You will be mainly involved in the process evaluation of the implementation of AISaT but might also contribute to other work packages.

You will have a postgraduatelevel qualification, equivalent qualification or experience in a relevant health-related area. You will also have experience of conducting mixed-method process evaluations, have publications in respected journals and be able to work in a proactive and results driven manner in a high paced environment. You will have stronginterpersonaland communicationskills, with the ability to analyse and interpret data and work effectively as part of a team. Some travel to London and Hertfordshire will be required.

This part-time post (0.8 FTE) is available immediately for a fixed-term period of 3 years.
