You’ll be someone who is both comfortable working pro-actively and managing your own tasks, as well as confident collaborating with others and communicating regularly with senior managers, directors, and BDO’s partners to help businesses effectively. You’ll be encouraged to identify and draw attention to opportunities for enhancing our delivery and providing additional services to organisations we work with.

You’ll also:

  • Carry out audit of tax work on a wide range of types of audit entities, working closely with core audit and other tax specialists and experts
  • Work directly for a licence holder on the audit of tax, deal with often complex tax technical issues, project manage the audit of tax engagement and be the main point of contact for the appropriate person at the audit entity.
Educated to degree level and/or CTA and/or ACA qualified or equivalent

The role will also include involvement in other aspects of tax, including compliance, ad-hoc advice, transactions and much more, alongside the audit of tax portfolio.

  • Understand potential risks to the firm in relation to the firm’s quality control procedures where relevant.
  • Guide and supervise less experienced colleagues. Support, train, mentor and advise others in audit of tax expertise
