Role Purpose:

The Accounts Payable Manager will support the existing finance team in processing Vendor Invoices, reconciling Vendor ledgers, dealing with queries, and ensuring prompt and accurate payments.

Role Responsibilities:

Overall responsibilities include:

  • · Day to day management of the Accounts Payable process across 3 businesses (Impero, Netop & Content
  • · Keeper), including posting of all accounts payable invoices.
  • · Streamline accounts payable process to achieve best in class AP processing metrics and significantly reduce current wrap around time.
  • · Ad hoc project work – including supporting move to new finance ERP system (Netsuite).
  • · Proactively liaise with managers to promptly resolve invoice and purchase order differences.
  • · Continually improve performance, issue resolution and process.
  • · Support the Financial Controller and Finance Manager as required
  • · Be able to identify and assist in the implementation of improvements within the Accounts Payable team to streamline work processes.
  • · Processing manual and electronic invoices to the Finance systems
  • · Interpret data from Finance system to reconcile Supplier accounts and resolve complex queries.
  • · Liaise with purchasing to arrange corrections to purchase orders.
  • · Work as a point of contact for the business and Suppliers for all invoice and payment related queries.
  • · Liaise with the wider Finance team to ensure deadlines are met.
  • · Management of vendor payments to enable tighter cash management.
  • · Provide cash-flow forecast on monthly basis for current vendor payments.
Required skills/experience/qualifications:
  • ·5+ years experience of working as a Transactional Accounting professional with experience of leading projects and gaining results.
  • · Must have excellent understanding of the Accounts Payable processes.
  • · Must be confident and experienced in working within an extremely fast-paced environment.
  • · Experience working in technology industry preferred.
  • · Experience working across multiple currencies.
  • · Will have strong organisational skills.
  • · Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • · Excellent IT skills essential with proficiency in MS Office: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • · Experience of Netsuite is an advantage, but not essential.

Our office is based in central Nottingham and we would require for this person to attend the office minimum two days a week when rest of the team are in.

This is a full time permanent position.
