We have an exciting opportunity to join our team at the Nottingham Radiotherapy Centre as a Senior Therapeutic Radiographer. As a Band 6 Senior Therapeutic Radiographer you would be part of a Linac based team but would also have the opportunity to rotate through other areas of the department such as pre-treatment or brachytherapy.


In order to cover the service needs, the post-holder will need to be able to work flexible shifts over the working week with normal hours between 07.To work and lead as part of a team of staff and to assist in the provision of a high quality Radiotherapy Service.


To comply with and contribute to the maintenance of ISO 9001:2015 quality system for the department.


To participate in audit, and the clinical research and development of techniques and equipment.


To participate in the training and education programme of student and junior radiographers.

The Nottingham Radiotherapy Centre offers cutting edge treatment delivery and pre-treatment technology including 6 Elekta Versa HD and Agility Linacs (2 with Brainlab and Exactrac with further surface guided solutions to be added with our latest Linacs), 2 CT scanners due to be replaced with Canon Exceed LB CT 4D scanners, Raystation and Monaco planning systems and Mosaiq Oncology Management system.


The Radiotherapy Department provides complex treatments including: paediatric radiotherapy, image guided IMRT, SABR, SRS and total body electron and photon treatments for patients across Nottinghamshire and the wider East Midlands region. The department has a major commitment to evidence based practice and participates in multi-centre clinical research.
