Burnside Primary School is seeking to employ a School Business Manager to become a part of our vibrant team due to the retirement of our current Business Manager. We are a school community that values dedication and support, always placing the educational needs of our pupils at the forefront.

As a School Business Manager, you will be integral to our operations, ensuring the smooth running of the school’s various administrative and financial aspects. Financial Management: Overseeing finance and accounting procedures to ensure efficiency and compliance.
· HR and Payroll: Effectively administering HR processes and payroll systems.
· Managing the schools single central record and ensuring all adults who enter the school building have the required paperwork and clearances.
· Office Administration: Handling day-to-day administrative tasks with precision.
· Collaborating closely with the Headteacher, Senior Leadership, and Governing Body.
· Engaging professionally with all members of the school community.
Proven skills in finance, accounting, office administration, site management, HR/payroll, and team management.
· A firm commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
